Privacy Policy

Unified for Progress, Inc. (“Company” or “We”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website JoinUnified.us (our “Website”) or use the Unified mobile application (the “App”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On this Website.
  • Through the App.
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Company or any third party; or
  • Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website or the Platform.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website or App. By accessing or using our Website or App, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of our Website or App after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

How the Platform Uses Social Data

One of the core functionalities of the Platform is to facilitate communications between you and your personal connections. In order to receive this service, you must first upload your contact or social media data (“Social Data”) to the Platform. The nature and scope of such data depends on the applicable platform’s policies and practices from which the data has been generated, which we encourage you to review carefully before uploading your Social Data to the Platform. We may derive insights from your Social Data, and we may use those insights to improve your experience within the App. For example, we may learn from your Social Data that one of your personal connections is likely to respond positively to outreach requested by another user and thus recommend that you reach out to your connection. We may provide the requesting user with information demonstrating that you have taken that action. We do not share such insights with anyone else, and we do not share your Social Data with any third parties whatsoever. We also do not directly contact your personal connections or any other third parties to do so; we merely enable you to do so from within the App.
